I just got a Liberty Renegade six speed a few weeks ago. I am very happy with how it performs on an off-road so far. I would like to change some things I have 1500 to spend on parts what would be the best mods to buy. Thanks Nathan

I have the skids and rock rails. I want to get a 2.125 lift, goodrich t/a ko tires, and other stuff. Would the k&n short ram intake be worth investing in? I have on on one of my cars and like it a lot.

NO! K&N filters breath great because the let TO MUCH crap past the filter! These motors breath just fine. Put an Amsoil EAA204 (I think) DRY plate filter in your truck and youll be good. Im relatively new to the KJ but most people seem to think the Franken Lift is the way to go. 2 to 3" lift depending on how tall your truck stands now.

+1 at what Joe said about the filters. If you're going to go off road, you do NOT want a K&N filter.

For the lift...
Get some OME springs and Rancho shocks and extended bumpstops. That will net you a significant amount of height...usually about 3" if you run heavy duty stuff. Shouldn't set you back more than about $700...and it's way better than that RRO stuff...

EAA201 is the correct Amsoil part number for the KJ drop-in air filter. I agree w/ either the All J Products Frankenlift or TBJ's suggestion for a lift. FWIW, both lift suggestions can be had from All J Products.

Yeah but JJ, isn't there a Amsoil cone type filter one could use with the K&N (or other brand) cold air intake system?

FWIW, ndgatto72 if you're going to use the stock air box, from my experience, the Amsoil EAA201 is the best you can use.
