My brother scored a 2006 Jeep Liberty Limited last month. I drove it yesterday and liked it so much that I made a deposit today on a 2005 Liberty Renegade leftover.
I loved the styling, the layout, the power and all the options (as well as the skid plates, tow hooks, and light bar).
But I think what hooked me the most was the heritage. The last jeeps I rode in were military models in the mid 1980s, and even though todays models are eons from what the old models in the Marines were like, you can't deny the lineage. It is probably something intangible, but decades of experience say something.
Anyway, I hope to close the deal by Friday morning so I can be riding all weekend. Anyone have any tips or important facts on the break-in period? The model I'm buying has 69 miles on it.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.
