They definitely aren't the easiest to change, I had 2 ceramic tips missing when I pulled mine out, not sure what happened to the tips but they weren't in the cylinder's? ( checked with a borescope, no damage could be seen ) very strange.

Check the rear diff A arm, when the bushes (1) wear in the arm, the arm will rub on the body when loaded up causing a grinding sound, could possibly be the centre A arm ball joint (2) has failed as well causing the noise, it happen to mine, noise went away when I repaired the A Arm.

If you've driven it on hard surface the driveline will bind up & you wont be able to take it out of 4wd, try jacking one wheel off the ground to take the pressure off the driveline & see if that works

Radiator cap could be faulty & not holding pressure, you cant tell by looking at it you need to pressure test it

Maybe not but the mounts are similar, fitted an ARB & winch last month. I cant see a problem with removing the crossmember & replacing it with the winch mount as the mount will actually strengthen the front up, Ive modified quiet a few jeeps, removing crossmembers & replacing them with winch...

I cant see a problem, looks very well mounted, similar to the ARB winch bar mounting system

If your fan has been damaged & is out of balance it can cause the fan clutch to fail

Springs & shocks normally wont effect the ground clearance unless they are totally sagged in the front as the lowest part on the jeep is the rear diff housing, only way to raise that is with larger diameter tyres.

With 245/75/16 tyres I run 24 psi touring on stoney roads to stop impact fractures & **** outs caused by the tyre not being able to conform to the sharp stones when driving over them, on the beach I'll start at 15 psi & if needed will drop pressures as required, drove across the Simpson Desert...
