my window is also out due to this. I called the dealer and they said I wasnt covered. So I called the hotline on that letter. The lady said it was for a range of VIN's and I wasnt covered.
Thank you for this post!
I just had this happen. I was able to open the cover and figured out that to push to get my Key out. Now I should be able to get it fixed without having to pay a dealer to do it.
I honestly have 84k on the orginal tires. I am a project manager for a health care company and I cover the northern half of Indiana. All I do is drive highway and state routes. So my starting and stoping is limited. The speed limits are between 55 and 65mph. I keep my tires rotated every 6k...
I dunno, I must drive like a really old person. I have the SR-A's and have no issues with them. I dont spin off the line and I never had to clinch the butt cheaks.
I also have 84k on them and they still have not worn out.
TJKJ2002,
I dont see what the issue would be with the tires. I have no dry rot and they are not to the wear bars.
I have never had issues with wet/snow conditions and they are not wearing differently.
I know they are not the best tires, but come spring I will be replacing them.
Mine does this just about everytime as well. The dealer never heard of this issue. I was told to not put the nozzle all the way into the tank. That didnt help....
I just watch the gallons and when I think it is getting close I trickle it in until it stops. Now I only over fille it 1/2 of...
Hi folks,
I just wanted to see what the everyone has gotten on the OEM tires.
I have the wrangler SR-A's. Mileage to date is 84k and some change, by next weekend I will be at 85k.
I am still on the orginal tires.
Thanks,
James
Well I am up to 84,450 miles now.
Still running strong. I did have the plugs changed at 73k but Everything is still stock, tires/brakes...
I do need to buy a windshield and fog lights. All Are craked due to trucks kicking up large rocks...
The interior needs a bath/power wash...
update on the jeep.
Well In the two years that I have had the jeep.
Nothing has gone wrong with the drive train or electrical.
The only thing that is wrong is the fog lights. Both are cracked and one has water in it. I just need to buy a new clear lense or a new light. If I have to buy...
I am glad I poped back in to the site. I need to get mine fixed as well.
I just got back from the dealer. I was in and out in 40 minutes. The buliten said 1.5 hour job for the replacement. I was happy to be out sooner.
well the jeep is about 6 months old and is close to hitting the 20k mile mark. After this week i will rack up at least another 600 miles on the road.
Everything is holding up well.
The only problem so far is, a scratch in the passenger front door by the handle. I have no clue how it got...
something else that might work.
More for your property than puttingit on the Jeep(unless you want a hood Ornament) Place a plastic OWL near your jeep either in a tree/fence post/roof of the house.
Fox urine: place it on trees or fence post near your jeep.
