You are correct sir, there's no way i was able to get a press in there but i was able to pry the center steel insert out with a heel bar. After that the old rubber kinda crumbled out with a screwdriver. Of course ymmv cause maybe i got lucky lol. The new Moogs just pushed in tho so that was a bonus.
The circled spot is the back of the electromagnet that clocks it properly. Also.......i really was able to replace my steering rack bushings without removing my rack lol i did remove tie rods and the steering shaft but it sure didn't take an hour lol more like 3 Haha. They were a pita to remove...
Forgot to add i didn't have to remove the compressor or loosen it but i did remove my electric fan. I didn't even think about doing a write up with proper pics sorry.
I bought a clutch kit from Ebay that cost me $38 and change. Came with everything shown but new. The clutch plate is held on by a locknut and you'll have to secure the clutch plate somehow. I used a 3/4 wrench to hold it in place. The clutch plate is just splined on the shaft so i used two...

Finally got around to doing my steering rack bushings. Took me a few to figure out how to get mine out...not much room under there. I was able to extract the steel inserts from the rubber with my pry bar, then was able to pull out the rubber insulators. The new ones just pressed right in with...
