You have the tools so I get why you are going the engine lift route. I couldn't budge my engine so dropped the axle/front diff. Then I had lots of room to do a nice job on the pan. '05 Renegade

I sold the Wrangler set for what I had in it and just replaced my tires with stock sized tires (for now).
Too many other things to spend money on: rusty rockers & door bottoms; sound system; roof rack; ....
I second that. Moment is the primary factor. The lever analogy is correct. Think of the force you have to apply to a short wrench vs a long wrench. Or think of your old 10-speed bike, where using the larger front sprocket makes it a lot harder to pedal even though the sprocket is only an inch...
