I always knew WD-40 displaced water, but I always thought it was a water based lubricant. I know it will eat the bluing off a rifle. I learned that the hard way. I have only sprayed my bushings once and it worked very well. If I ever have to do it again I will use the chain lube. Thanks. pc06er

No, Just dont spray the brakes!!! That would not be very good:pp:. The sway bar that goes across the front is famous for squeaking. WD-40 is a water base lubricant, so it wont hurt anything under their. Try not to get it on the outside paint job, ect. You might be surprised how clean you can get...

Spray all your rubber bushings really well with WD-40. take it for a drive over some speed bumps, not a dusty road, then re-soak all the bushings again. This may take a couple of times and a can of WD-40, but it will get rid of the squeeks. I have tried other products but they dont work as well...

Well, the ABS light turns out to be th front drivers side speed sencer. It needed to be removed and cleaned and I was told to drive it for a while and see if the computer will pick up the signal? I hope thats all thats wrong. It looks great and the ride is very smooooth.The Jeep rode very well...
