Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

I plan on replacing them next spring. Just a stop gap to get the Jeep back on the road. I kept the ride height stock and the rear is Bilstein shocks and Moog springs. Just the front struts will need to be replaced

Yeah, they've been great so far

    '06 Keyless entry not working

Did a quick search and didn't see anything, so here I am. Last time my keyless entry worked, I had to practically stand next to the Jeep to unlock it and everything happened in slow motion. Replaced the remote battery and checked all fuses. Everything was fine. The system is completely...

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

It's my daily driver, so I needed to get it done ASAP. That and the price are the only reason why I went with Monroe. The Moogs jumped up in price from the time I bought them to the time I needed another set. My rationale now is that these new Monroes are better than 16 year old, shot OEM struts ‍

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

I got the Moogs from the manufacturer's Amazon store. Kinda bummed it didn't work out as they're kinda mid tier and given the urgency, I settled on some Monroes from Rock Auto to get it done. Probably gonna go OME in a couple of years.

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

Exactly! I've gotta disassemble all this crap anyway. Might as well take care of the other stuff now instead of doing this all over again later.

I upgraded to SS hoses and restored the calipers too. Also, wasn't just a spring/shock replacement. My entire suspension is brand new, front and back.

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

Here we go. Not quite done yet. The upper ball joint nut that came with the Mevotech UCAs are much bigger than stock and I don't have the socket for it. Otherwise, all done. Just need to bleed the brakes once I finish up the other corners. Thanks to @tommudd and YouTube for a successful first...

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

I got another pair of struts and they fit like a glove. Almost done with the rebuild now. Just started torquing down the left side. Still waiting to hear back from Moog. Gonna return the other ones for a full refund.

    Rear shock bolt size

Bump. I can't find the part # for this anywhere. Had to saw off the passenger side bolt. It's definitely a 15mm head, not 16mm as a previous poster stated. The Jeep stealerships I talked to said this bolt comes in a kit and I have to bring in an original bolt to match ‍♂️. It looks like the...

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

When I twist it in place, I'm just overlapping that ridge with the clevis and nothing else moves. I think you mentioned previously that some brands don't have an index for the clevis at all. So, if I grind it down and just align the clevis to the LCA bushing, will that cause excessive wear to...

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

I got the right side to fit by twisting over the ridge with some persuasion before starting this thread. Could probably do the same on the left side. After inspecting both struts, it looks like the springs are properly seated. I guess the mount bearing plate wasn't rotated properly? If it's safe...

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

Is there anyone in the DMV that knows how to assemble this correctly? I'm in a serious bind as this is my daily driver and I need it for work

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

They came pre-assembled from the Moog factory. So, what's the next step?
