It's my daily driver, so I needed to get it done ASAP. That and the price are the only reason why I went with Monroe. The Moogs jumped up in price from the time I bought them to the time I needed another set. My rationale now is that these new Monroes are better than 16 year old, shot OEM struts ‍

I got the Moogs from the manufacturer's Amazon store. Kinda bummed it didn't work out as they're kinda mid tier and given the urgency, I settled on some Monroes from Rock Auto to get it done. Probably gonna go OME in a couple of years.

I upgraded to SS hoses and restored the calipers too. Also, wasn't just a spring/shock replacement. My entire suspension is brand new, front and back.

I got another pair of struts and they fit like a glove. Almost done with the rebuild now. Just started torquing down the left side. Still waiting to hear back from Moog. Gonna return the other ones for a full refund.

When I twist it in place, I'm just overlapping that ridge with the clevis and nothing else moves. I think you mentioned previously that some brands don't have an index for the clevis at all. So, if I grind it down and just align the clevis to the LCA bushing, will that cause excessive wear to...

I got the right side to fit by twisting over the ridge with some persuasion before starting this thread. Could probably do the same on the left side.
