I did check the harness and all was OK with it.
My jeep sat for 2.5 maybe even 3 years. I'm not sure why but it would not shift . My thought was all the fluid drained to the pan from sitting. I'm sure the seals in the pistons may of had issues from sitting dry if that happen. I purchased a used...
Does any one know how to reset the gear selector to have your shifter in line with your transmission. So I loosened the nut on the side of my selector . That released tension on my prnd21 shifter. Then I took the cable off first on the shifter then on the gear selector shaft under the...
Came home dropped the front drive shaft shot wd40 up on top the gear selector shaft had a beer waited a hour came back worked it back and forth using a small adjustable wrench .Works great now thank you. I would of been reading all day .
How long are I considered a new member I joined in 2016 lol .
You confirmed what i read about last night thank you . I've never been inside this transmission but I've rebuilt 47re 4l80e and 4l60e so I should be ok.
At least I don't have to drop the transmission that was my biggest fear.
For others who come across this and are wondering what the gov is...
My 3.7 05 liberty needed an engine . I purchased a engine with low miles 2 plus years ago. I had life stuff going on I just got around to doing it . I dismantled it 2 plus years ago left the trans in neutral. Now my shift cable I'd stuck in neutral. I took the shifter cover off tried moving it...
I dont know squat about mud racing.
Your buddy must not have his shrouded properly then or a bad clutch. I cant speak for him.
I personally have had better luck with mechanical fans . This how Ive always looked at it.
Why do diesel trucks never run efans when over x amount of gross vehicle...
Im not sure what you mean by im running the wrong efan. Care to add more to the statement so I know what your talking about.
For my situation in my turbo yukon a direct drive fan out does both a few mechanical clutched fan and a few aftermarket efans. As I stated the constant pull of cool air...
2bob it did thank you.
I already grabbed a shroud with fan at my local yard for 50$.
The site car ID list the hayden clutch pn 2709 . One of the only sites that shows the applicable ftp upgrade . It also has motors only for sale for the efans...
Thats not 100% true.
In most cases yes a non clutched direct coupled fan will draw more power make gas mileage worse than a mechanical clutch fan. But cool significantly better then the other two efan and clutched mechanical.
Thats the case for all but turbocharged vehicles. My dyno time has...
O ok . I dindnt think you could.
Im having a world of trouble with this liberty.
TwoBobsKJ, do you have the part numbers when you did your mechanical fan upgrade. I cant find the link with the part numbers or link. ... Its was you right that did the write up.
You know they make flowmasters in all shapes and sizes. I agree an old school 40 FM may not be the best choice. Why not get something quiter but less restrictive like a super 50. To get the most out of your muffler people usually add a cai of some sort with washable filter. It will deepen the...
I know some were 3 prong , plug some were 2.
Mines 3 . Relay location but that shouldn't effect the fan. Besides that I wasnt aware of any differences. Is there anything im missing?
Hey guys I have a question rather than starting a new thread . Can I use the HD electric fan with shroud by its self with out mechanical fan.
I need new fan and at my local junk yard there the same price as the ones with out shroud. Now I would like to add a fan with clutch to my set up soon...
I though this may help those who do hefty towing with there jeeps.
So I own a full sized forged 383 sbc yukon with gt45 turbo. As you would expect it throws some serious heat off.
I was diagnosing a bad fan on the liberty I just bought. As I was looking at the water pump Im thinking to myself...
