I did my brakes/rotors/brake lines and I was looking at the sway bar and I think it can be replaced without much trouble. It is rusted but I brushed away most of the rust and used a whole bottle of PB blaster of the bolts. I really think they could replace those parts and I think I'll ask my...
So thanks everyone for responding and reading my thread but it doesn't seem anyone has any suggestions from this point. My mechanic said despite the rust everything is solid and the leak is so minor that not to worry about it just check the fluid level every few months.
I asked about...
So it isn't my fault it is like this. I recently just purchased the vehicle. I am the second owner and am trying to be a little more proactive about this stuff than the previous owner.
The parts themselves are not that expensive. It seems like 250-350 dollars would cover almost every single...
Hey Forum,
So, my suspension parts have some rust on them. Was hoping to get some suggestions from other Jeep owners on best course of action.
I took some pictures of the front driver suspension
There are no holes anywhere but the rust is flaking in spots.
Also, as you can see in...
I wasn't trying to be preachy or anything sheesh! I just thought it was interesting how much inefficiency is caused with modest increases in speed! I was agreeing with you at getting bad mileage going 75mph!
I drove it for a while and really was impressed with the acceleration. Then again I currently drive a 1997 Mazda b2300 stick shift. So, it was a big bump in performance for me!
Was only kidding! I'm sure your penis is fine. Sorry to hear about the emergency and thanks for all the discussion! Just a nervous guy over here when it comes to such large purchases.
Thanks for the reminder! I shouldn't have to do that for 3 years though. I'll have to report back on the mileage I get with the 4 cylinder.
Other than the hate for the 4 cylinder, it seems like there isn't much to worry about with the 2005 Liberty.
Haha. So I drove it twice and really didn't feel a lack of power shifting through the gears. I drive my cars so conservatively too that going for the v6 did not seem like the right choice. Plus, 6-speed! 6! It was fun to drive I thought and lugged my 4k lbs around pretty good I thought!
Any thoughts to why? Plenty of power on the highway and I don't tow anything. Why should I opt for the 6 cylinders if I'm not going to need 6 cylinders?
