I had a similar problem. I thought it was the a/c compressor but It turned out to be the idler pulley right under the compressor.

That read made my day !

I have the same thing happen to me sometimes. I just turn the jeep off and back on and the light resets it self. So I too would love to know what causes it.

Thanks for the info guys. When I do the top plate an clevis I'll take pics and post them. But at the rate this winter is going it's looking like end of march when I'll be able to do it!
