It's a quick fix for stock rails that rust out, with materials on hand, and while I have put the rails to use, they are there to protect the accidental contact, not to rely on them for rock crawling. However, I will see if they will adjust out farther, that's a great point.

Yes, I did clean the IAC with MAF cleaner, instead of throttle body cleaner since it has plastic parts, and I cleaned the port it goes into on the throttle body. It warms up normally and drops to 600RPM, so I'm thinking the IAC is ok, but I'll test further. I'll re-check the throttle body plate...
