I thought about trying that, but I would actually like a higher quality scanner, because I would be using it alot more that just once... -
Always add the correct, specified amount of fluid first. To get a more accurate reading, drive the Jeep at highway speed for 30 minutes...

I always measure what came out to get an idea of what should go back in. Then check the level after driving it. Idk what an Lt is, but...

If by coded you mean that it has to be programmed to the vehicle, I'm pretty sure this one does unfortunately, and I've heard rumors...

Check your wiring harness on the drivers side near the back seat where the harness goes through the body from the inside to the outside...
