What the eff did I do wrong?

Anyone have any pics of what to cut? I swapped mine out and the car thinks the key is always in the ignition, which really messes with the alarm and so on. I've disassembled the ignition switch actuator so many times that I'm very familiar with it, but I don't know specifically what to cut...

    Riding with rear hatch open

Not sure about the exhaust. The window is angled up so this wouldn't trap via the window. Having it open could, but the stock exhaust doest come directly out of the back either. I guess you should be cautious.

    T Case

I'm not sure but posts here say ours is the same tcase jeep has made for wrangler so I can only guess probably.

    Help with power windows please

I've never seen those parts sold separate. In fact when mine broke, I thought it was another regulator and took it to jeep for warranty. They informed me the regulator was fine and that the piece broken was all part of a single dealer part which also included the lift plate regulator. I ended...

    T Case

2002-2007 have the nv242 or nv231. I believe one is command trac and the other is selectrac. The nv number is stamped on them near the t-case fill hole. But you can supposedly also tell by whether or not your 4wheel drive lever has a neutral position instead of a full time 4wd option. I'm...

IPCW LEDT-410CB Bermuda Black LED Tail Lamp

I like LED technology but every time I've ever considered a tail light swap for any car, a few months later I was glad I hadn't cause it was a fad. It is one of the fastest ways to date your car. Use tattoo rules. Never buy tail lights when you're drunk, and always hold off and think about it...

    I've increased MPG's a bit.

I do, 320 to 360 miles per tank, all day every day. That's 17 to 19 mpg rain or shine. If you account for the tank holding roughly 19 gallons with fill-ups ranging anywhere from 17.x to 18.x gallons, there's my difference in mileage, I basically get almost no difference driving 90% Highway or...

    Riding with rear hatch open

I've driven with mine open on hot days everywhere you can imagine. I've crossed cement medians diagonally with it up. For the light, just pop the glass open, then reach in the hole where it latches and click it shut as if the window was in there. The car thinks the window is closed. That...

    Yet another window regulator issue

The Steiger piece is for the plate fix. The regulator itself can go bad for numerous reasons. 1 of my 6 breaks was not the plate, but the long spiral screw instead.

Dang window dropped AGAIN. 6th time!!! What's the record?

I'm on my 6th repair now as well. Took it to jeep and they said NO for the first time. Well, they said $390. So I said no and bought an alternate version of the Regulators. Got a pair for $110 for the rear windows. Started with my driver side, and it took about 20min to change. First thing...

Which Optima Yellow Top and How Much?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'm gonna try that Marine P2 from Sears RockyMountain went with. I've heard the marine batteries are a bit higher on the RC values due to the possibilities of being stranded in water.

No sound on the right side!

Is it an old amp that has a balance potentiometer? Possibly set to max left while tuning? ;) Otherwise, I say ground somewhere.

    Android Aux input

The USB on an iProduct is intelligent and was designed to facilitate additional control. The USB on Androids (such as my Evo) is more of a client only connection. Meaning that you won't get any control out of any form of USB connection to an Android at this time. 1st or 2nd quarter of 2012, a...

Which Optima Yellow Top and How Much?

The Optima Battery website lists 1 yellow top that fits my 2007 4x4 KJ Sport. The listed part # is "D34 8012-021". Sears says this is a $325 battery while various online retailers claim it(specifically to the part #) can be had as low as $165. However, local retailers are saying generically...

    Local shops recommending 245/75/16 upgrade

I ended up swapping them out with some street tires. Suppose to put them on tomorrow. The 225/75 Duratrac was a 10ply and that was just way too overkill for my needs. I was fortunate in that Certified Tire took them back and allowed the swap.
