    Ome + h&r

So I just replaced my old worn, worn out (stock) springs and shocks with a set of H&R springs and Monroe shocks and a few conduit nuts up front to level it out. Due to having a short garage door, I wasn't able to go any higher. Since swapping it this weekend, I've noticed that it rides...

    Ome + h&r

I recently bought a set of the raising springs (p/n 29203-1) but haven't installed them yet. I ended up getting them from THMotorsports for $235.19 (USD) including shipping. Not much to contribute besides pricing at this point.

    Extended length shocks

Thanks Tommudd, I appreciate the help! I wanted to go the OME route but it's close enough with 1.5" and I didn't want to take a chance. Would that 99-04 Dakota 4x4 choice work for both front and rear?

    Extended length shocks

Hey all. Next week I'll be installing new springs, shocks, etc. and I was curious if anyone could let me know at what point I would need to buy extended length shocks. I've looked through the forum and couldn't find much for answers. I should clarify that the springs I'm installing are the...

Need some info on wheel bearing replacement

I've changed mine and it's not really a tough job. The hub assembly will be different depending on if you have ABS or not. To give you a general idea, this is a hub assembly for a 2003 / 3.7 V6 with ABS More Information for DURA INTERNATIONAL 29513178

What did you do to your jeep today?

Changed the front wheel hub assembly on both side and changed the spark plugs. Turns out the old plugs were gapped to .080 instead of .04

    KJ pet peeves

The only pet peeve that I have so far is that the gas overflows every time I fill it up. I've tried putting the handle in differently and that doesnt seem to help. Grrrrr.....

    Seat Upholstery

I remember a few years ago when I worked at a restaurant we had vinyl seats in the booths similar to that. Every now & then we had some guy come into the joint and repair any rips in the material. He mixed up some pigment & some sort of goo then used a patch of fabric & a small hot iron to seal...

    Seat Upholstery

That sucked! My advice to anybody looking to do this...make sure you have time & patience (2 things I lack). This is technically a "pull the old off & put the new on" kinda gig but it is a PITA. The burn...I know it's small but I wanted to repair it before the fabric started tearing. The...

    Seat Upholstery

Well, I just got the call letting me know that the new seat fabric is in. I'll be swapping it out tonight hopefully and I'll post some pics tomorrow.

    Seat Upholstery

Hey guys! I checked around at most of the larger junk yards within a few hour drive of me and I had some luck finding KJ's but no luck finding seats that match (the ones I did find were stained pretty bad). At least I know I'll be able to find other parts if I need 'em though! I thought...

    Seat Upholstery

I just bought my '05 KJ about a week ago and this past weekend I was driving some buddies home from the bar when one of them lit up a cig and dropped the cherry on the seat burning a nice little hole. I looked into seat covers (don't really like 'em) and I've contact junk yards to see if they...

    Howdy from the Hawkeye State!

Hey there folks! I just found this forum today and kinda wish I would have come here earlier! I just bought my first KJ on Monday after my '95 ZJ crapped out on me and I love it! It's a 2005 Liberty Sport, 3.7 V6, 30k miles and nearly mint condition! I bought this one from the original owner for...
