Dome light wont turn off ....
In the 2003 manual, the middle is B+. If you don't have an EVIC it can be tricky to know which door is open. The manual says it can be diagnosed with DRB3. I don't know if it can be diagnosed with an OBD2 scanner.- ikuo78

Create Steel had replacement procedures. I'm not sure if they're still posted on their website. It looks like you need to remove the differential mount, steering shaft and tie rod end.- ikuo78

Transmission Fluid in Transfer Case - 2007 Jeep Liberty 3.7 L
Thank you KJowner for the additional information. It seems like one cup of ATF moving in six months is too much. From experience, when there was about 500cc less ATF in the transmission, there was more shift shock. 500cc is probably about two or three cups.- ikuo78

In that case, you'd be better off worrying about the amount of ATF in the transmission. Since that amount will be transferred to the TC within six months, it's probably best to plan to replace the seal within a year.- ikuo78

The valve cover is still dripping oil. I removed the grommet from the mounting bolt and checked the tightening, but it was only compressed by 0.5 mm. Engine/Crankcase Breathers
I am trying to do this to lower the pressure inside the crankcase. The breather hose connected upstream of the throttle is basically supposed to suck in air, but in fact it expels oil, so it doesn't just suck it in. I replaced the head cover gasket probably about two years ago. Recently the oil leak has recurred, so I'm attaching a tin can to a position where oil is likely to drip and checking the amount of leaking oil. I drove 470km on a weekend trip and leaked this much oil, but I attached the can close...- ikuo78
