The OME springs and shocks are an excellent and proven choice.
Because of availability where I live, I opted for H&R raising springs (sold as a set, part no. 29203-1) and Bilstein shocks all round. Gave me about 2” of lift. I saved a little bit of money and am quite happy with this set-up.

I’m in the same boat. Just ordered a set of KYB shock mounts for my 2003 KJ. I think that the assembly requires two spring insulators per side, so may have to order an extra set of insulators.
Yeah … I didn’t want to spend a lot fixing it. Definitely not as good as factory and lacks the bass. Anyway, my days of rocking to AC/DC and waking the neighbours up a 2 am are long behind me.
