    Timing Chain Slap, 3.7

Best described as "chain clatter". The new chain becomes lose on the passenger sisec camshaft sprocket. (top side only). Also new tensioners and chains, so kinda at a loss for the moment. Guides are new and chain is lose on passenger side only. Will try to get sound, but on road at the moment

    Timing Chain Slap, 3.7

Of course our 2002 Liberty has begun a slap in the timing chain rigth before winter. Gears, tensioners and chains have been replaced and still getting a slap on the passenger's side. She's got 180k with the 3.7 & 4speed auto. Any thought appreciated.

    Timing Chain Issue?

Anyone come up with ideas for this? We have replaced chains gears and are still having the noise and "bucking" of the loose chain.

    Timing chain slap

Just purchased a 2002 Liberty with 180k. Ran great until about a month ago. Was getting slap from the timing chain. Replaced the chains, gears tensioners etc. Still have slack in passenger side secondary chain. Any thoughts or experience with this?
