    It wont throw any codes. I have used starting fluid in fuel injected engines several times without any issues. If you ran it like that for an extended period of time I could see it hurting it but I doubt 30 seconds of starting fluid would trash an engine

    Someone please help. I can keep missing work over this thing. It now idles fine and if you feather the throttle it will accelerate somewhat normally but if you nail the throttle it bogs out and stauls if you hold it down

    Thats exactly what happend. I fixed it and put a better clamp on it, put it back together and let it idel for 15 min I hit the throttle and it stauled out. I disconnected the fuel line from the fuel rail and its deffeinatly getting fuel. I put a little gas in the air intake and it ran for 10 min...
