I appreciate the information and the wisdom, always nice to get assistance from the "old-timers" of a community, thank you. I think you are still going off my Typo on the Tire size, I accidently put that the tires are 31.5", they are 30.5" which is only an increase of 1.5" diameter from what...

It's a 2WD KJ, I only did a small lift for looks. It will not be taken offroad (I have an XJ for that, I'll explain below), and the slightly larger tire size was to correct the speedometer which was 6% fast (and make it look meaner). This was a free vehicle given to me by my father, and it ended...

Alignment fixed, the psycho steering is gone and it's drivable again. Got some new tires put on 245/70R17, measure about 30.5". I'll have to do some clearance on the inner fender liners and the pinch weld. Edit: typoed the inches on the tire size.

Alignment appointment scheduled for Monday at 2pm, its gonna need it. The caster is off, steering is unpredictable and doesn't return to center. Normal things when lifting a Jeep, had the same issue with my 91 Cherokee.

Installed a lift today, nothing crazy 2.5 in front, 2 in rear. Supreme Suspensions coil spacer kit.

With the new headlight assemblies, its night and day difference to the old ones. I've done headlight restos before, it lasts a year or 2 before you need do it again, but the kits are only 15-20 bucks. With the lenses being only 25 a piece it seemed more cost and time efficient to replace rather...

Here's a couple pics of the new headlights and turn signals. I used some "smoke" tint film on the turn signals and side markers, nothing too dark just a subtle change.

I installed some tube steps on the sides and replaced the housings for the headlights and front turn signals. Wasn't bad prices actually, RockAuto had the headlight housings with bulbs for 25 a piece, and I got the turn signal housings for 20 bucks for the pair. It looks really good now, I'll...

Harness was not the issue, it was definitely the glitchy headunit, swapped in the replacement and working 100%.

Their where some other glitches with that headunit so Crutchfield sent me a different model as a replacement so I will be swapping and testing again.

If that's the case then the wiring harness is wrong, orange on aftermarket harnesses is illumination. It does work, it just flickers.

I've run into my first issue, I've installed an aftermarket headunit, and soldered my harness as per directions (not my first radio install). I'm presented with an odd issue, the radio works normally, but when I turn the headlights on it makes the radio lights and screen flicker back and forth...
