I understand I would be better served to save and get the OME kit just trying to do what I can right now. Not making a decision yet thought, still need to see what the first ultrasound shows and how the tax return looks. Pending we see a healthy heartbeat and not multiple heartbeats or some...
There's a coupon on Rock Auto and I can get new coilover units on front and new springs and shocks on rear for $228 shipped. Its all "economy" units but I cant help but think it would still be better than 10 year old 75000 mile components. I know I asked once early and really like the idea of...
No need to be black....just buy clear, scuff the rear up with some sand paper and paint the back side with black spray paint. Should work like a charm. Even if you don't paint it will be hard to see if its clear. Like I said....just keeping the large chunks of snow and dirt out. Think...
Holes on the sides and swings like a door instead of a flap? cant be the much plastic missing can there? If there is then go to lowes and buy a small piece of plexiglass and cut to size (just a half inch or so larger than the opening and do the above listed idea of zipties as a hinge on top...
mine broke while the fascia was off and I was rewiring the front end. I just ended up drilling two holes in the top and two in the bottom (with corresponding holes above or below each on in the inner fender) and put zip ties through the holes. the top two ties never have to come off and act as...

Ran the vin, didn't see anything about a rear locker. Did say lock up torque converter but I think that's something else with the transmission maybe.
I did read it but it says "hi" on the lever and in the manual but "part time" on the dash. being I had the Cherokee that was in a sense AWD I was being thrown own by the part time icon. I understand now though. thanks.
After reading this and other posts ive come to realize that's probably also what its meant to indicate .... just kinda backwards thinking for a guy who always had ford and Toyota's that used the more common Hi or Lo indicators on the dash.
ok... another confused look... What is that and what does it do? I know lockers "lock" the wheels (you can do front or rear versions) but in my world only the ********* off road guys need or buy those. How would I get a more "modern" feel with an LSD on my liberty?
Am I the only one who thinks they way this is identified on the shifter handle / dash is confusing? Ive owned 4x4 trucks my whole life so ive im used to a shift pattern that is as such
2hi
4hi
N
4lo
This is what my liberty's handle says as well but when I pull it from 2hi into 4hi it says...
I just got my JK and while ive no had snow yet ive played in the pasture and on the hill with the 4x4 and its seems very capable. Excited to see what my 4x4 can do when the white stuff falls. I will say thought that my wife's highlander is a pretty sweet snow vehicle in its own regard. Those...
