Old thread but it is pretty rare for both codes P0420 and P0430 to show up together. There are two cats and each cat has 2 O2 sensors: an upstream and a downstream sensor. P0420 is one side and P0430 is the other. It's highly unlikely that both cats or a pair of O2 sensors fail at the same...
