How to do a Clevis Lift in 20 minutes

Well tried the easy method to no avail. I ended up having to remove the lower ball joint, sway bar end links, and lower clevis bolt before it would actually move. Wasn't to bad doing it that way though would have much rather have done it the easy way lol.

How to do a Clevis Lift in 20 minutes

Yeah... I have 926 on the front that are sagging and need a free face lift before I buy new springs 927 and shocks. It's been impossible for me to move the damn clevis though. I will try it again with some lubes and will try taking off the sway bar end links. Thanks Tom

How to do a Clevis Lift in 20 minutes

Any other tricks to move this damn clevis? I loosened the bolt and did the bottle jack trick and the celvis wouldnt move. I can tell its loose as i can see it wiggle but it will not move up or down at all. I also used a large crowbar and 2x4.Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Would you be willing to sell your 927s? Possibly the shocks also?

So I'm working on getting approval but I need some clarification. I should get the 2927 ome springs along with the 90009 strut/shock if I were to buy the whole assembly correct? I should not remove my current spring and replace it even though the strut only has about 15 to 20 thousand miles...

So I looked at my order form and they are OME struts up front but I'm not sure if they are 926 or 927 springs. The struts (lift in genersl) maybe has a total of 15,000 miles on them and that's on the highend over the past few years.

Getting ready to hit the dirt here in Arizona

The lake pleasant area is pretty fun especially after a good rain. I'm fixing my liberty here over the next month then I want to take it out again.

I agree on getting rid of the RRO. Need to get permission from the wife first. In the mean time I may just try the clevis lift. Also... I was reading about 2008 to 2011 kk clevis being longer. Might that be a temporary solution until I order the proper struts and springs? I looked on the JBA...

Well its been awhile but i have some more questions. TBH i havent ever fixed the fact that my jeep always sagged in the front by quite a bit (i barely drive it anymore). Its now bothering me that it looks like a mad max vehicle driving around. I just did some measurements and its astonishing...

    RRO Rockfather Lifts

I did and after day 1 I wish I didnt. Front end has always sagged and the customer service is a joke. Still drive it and play on the rocks but I should have gone a different route.

    pulls from side to side

Update... I swapped out the rear upper and lower controls arms today and it 100% solved the railway issue. Thanks for the input and direction everybody. If somebody else is having the issue I would recommend googling 1aauto.com They have the 3 rear control arms for 160 bucks and they seem well...
