    Improve Fuel Economy

Increasing tire pressures will gain you a slight increase but it will also make your wheels break traction a lot easier. I sure wouldn't run them like that in wet conditions.

    Improve Fuel Economy

Well I can almost bet that if you can find a place that sells fuel with no ethanol in it you will gain about 1-2 MPG. I get mine from a local shell but I have to buy the 89 octane to get it. Ethanol and ethanol blends reduce your mileage.

    electrical prob already

I don't know if they ever figured it out, as I said before, they reworked everything and put me back in my wrangler. They were absolutely baffled as to why it was doing that though. It's the strangest thing, you would think that it would be traceable.

Need a quick answer on new liberty

Well I don't know if any '08 liberty's have automatic climate control but my wifes '11 Avenger has it and the sensor for it looks like a little black round camera and it's placed up by the sunroof controls.

I think the KJ got the test but not any of the newer models if I remember correctly.

I totally agree that an auto is easier offroad, but what I was debating the other guy about was the fact that you can do the same things with a manual transmission, with a little more work and finesse.

I have heard the early 2010's having a different input shaft and synchros on 1st and 2nd that may be causing some problems, but there is not any OFFICIAL recall on this particular matter. No dealers have a recall notice and if there was one, you would receive a notice in the mail. But you are...

Only the autos were recalled for that. 6-speeds don't have that problem. http://blogs.consumerreports.org/cars/2009/11/recall-20072008-jeep-wrangler.html http://carrecalls.blogspot.com/2009/11/jeep-wrangler-recall.html I have a 2007 jk with a 6- speed and I have been nothing but happy...

I believe the auto has been recalled for some malfunctioning overheating light of some sorts. I am not aware of one for the 6 speed. I know there are several TSB's on both transmissions though. If you have found a recall on the 6 speed could you post a link to it? My 6 speed has been flawless...

If the stick will not make it, how do you explain the fact that I can and have seen many others do it? Some straight up, others after having stopped on said "very steep" hill. How do you explain the fact that I have seen TJ's not make it through a place a JK just did? How do you explain the...

No sir, the FACT that you can get more power to the wheels with a 6 speed is just that, F-A-C-T. You can run bigger tires without AS much of a lower gear in your axles, F-A-C-T. Yes, the auto can barely pull 33's, like I said, it's junk, you need lower gears to do what you can do in a 6 speed...

All good advise with the exception of the ****** choice. In my opinion, as well as many others, the auto is junk. If you go with the 6 speed you can get more power to the ground and you can get away with bigger tires without throwing AS much gearing into it. With that said, if you do a lot of...

    Slow to reverse?

I don't understand why someone would even have an issue if they had an automatic ******, 2 pedals, 2 feet. By the way, that's a nice KK you have there.

    Slow to reverse?

I would suspect the fluid level is probably low. That is the first and easiest probable cause to check first. Of course you have to have the dealer check your level without the dipstick to do it yourself. Did you ever have the dealer check the crank position sensor to hopefully resolve the...
