The wiring definitely goes up through the chassis behind the taillight. Since flashers work, but not when locking or unlocking, and no blinkers, I'm assuming the multifunction switch somehow fried itself.
Weird, its saying my file is too large even though I've posted pictures before. Either way, I only have one of those white connectors back here, so it can't be that. Its weird that unlocking/locking doesn't make em flash even though the hazards work
Ill have to try that when I can, I never use the hitch on this thing and if that brings my blinkers back without having to mess with other things or buy a new switch, I'm all for it
Guess I'll check the ground, wherever that is. I hate how they decided the best spot for blinker electronics would be in the bumper, especially right by the exhaust like that
Wipers and everything works, just no blinkers. Whats weird is before I wrapped all the wires back up, I separated them just to check things before I put em up, and the left blinker worked but turning the right one on would blow the fuse, so I thought putting em all back in place all wrapped up...
Yeah, I got everything cleaned up, got my brake lights and hazards back, but blinkers still not working. Arrows still dont light up on the cluster when I flip the stalk, but its also not blowing the fuse anymore either, guess something is unplugged as well
Its definitely this cluster that came loose and got burned. I'm gonna have to cut and reroute them one by one. Zip ties all the way, those factory clamps held up for 15 years so im not surprised, wish I caught it beforehand though.
Traced it to behind the rear driverside tire, all connections look good, I look over to the muffler and see this. I think I found the problem, will see what I can do.
Basically, I went over a decent bump yesterday and all my traction control lights and for some reason handbrake light came on? I parked and checked everything out, and turned it back on and it was fine, got to work alright. Fast forward after work, I'm leaving the parking lot and notice when I...
