Definitely an EVIC module. It doesn't have the homelink buttons but that must not be that uncommon because eBay has lots of them without the buttons. I also reviewed the information on the KJ Forum EVIC explanation page hoping to find something.

I'm not sure exactly what part you are referring to but I was just on eBay looking for a window motor and they have a bunch of window regulator repair kits for the Liberty. I'm assuming it's a part that must break frequently because they sell special metal reinforced ones.
