I am wondering if it is possible to fit 2003 leather seats in a 2004 liberty? Has anyone done it? I have a 2k4 Sport and my source at the junk yard is saying that their system says that it will not fit. I'm wondering if it's been tried before.

I'm going to measure this afternoon but I figured I ask here as well.
Thanks in advance!

Physically - yes. If you're wanting to hook them up electrically, that gets into a whole nother can of worms. DC changed the color coding, harnesses, and diagrams several times between 02 and 07.

I've got a set of leather seats from an 02 Limited in my 05 Sport CRD. Physically, it's a straight swapout - remove 4 nuts, pull out old seat, install leather seat, reinstall nuts.

ELECTRICALLY??? Gawd almighty, what a pain! Especially if you have the passenger airbag module up under the paasenger seat cushion. And on my 05 Sport, DC had left out the power wiring, fuses, and circuit breaker - had to run all that on my own.

There's at least a couple threads in the "How To" section on swapping in power leather seats into later-year KJ's.

Thanks for the info, I'll check out to the how-to's!

'05 was a redesign though....wouldn't '03 and '04 be the same?

For the most part, 2002-2004's are the same, 2005-2007's are the same. That's a generality as there are material changes to various components within those groups.
