So it's snowing again, got me thinking about disabling TCS without pulling the fuse....
Read up on the JK method of putting a switch inline with the "purple" wire to shut it off. Toggling the switch and restarting, re-enables ABS/TCS/ESP/etc.
One of the threads mentioned finding the wire in the center console by the e-brake. So I pulled out my trusty FSM, and low and behold the yaw/pitch sensor, also called the "Dynamics (ESP) sensor, is mounted next to the ebrake. According to the pin out, it has the same wire colours mentioned in the JK write-ups.
The violet(purple)/light blue wire they splice the switch in to is the supply line to the sensor, at least in the 2006 KY FSM it is.
Anyone happen to have a JK FSM so I can compare the pin outs before I go cutting up my Jeep?
