Post a pic, share a story.

Today I tested out my new 2.5" CRDSTU suspenson in 2 places.

1) Bribie Island Beach Down Under
2) The Glass House Mountains, Still Down Under.

They are both just a few min from me :)

Lol at exercise, thread is not meant to be about beating the pics, and i'm sure many would have much better pics anyway, The thread is simply about showing places you go with your Jeep in your part of the world.

That looks like it was a good trip, Nice Jeep by the way, as far as the Chihuahua is concerned, (wretched) I like that, showed the wife, she thought it was brilliant. Can definitely see the need for a body harness for the Chihuahua - hahaha

Here is the real deal with these guys when the owner is not facing you:

Not the mountains.
Nice shots of the lighthouse and the area. Cedar Point is definitely on my list of places I will go.:peace:

This morning I took my Jeep out to check on my deer stand and clear some brush and branches around it.

Yesterday I took it duck hunting and Friday we went pheasant hunting

I love that area along the lakeshore - spent a couple nights up there this summer on a chartered boat chasing (and catching!) a couple daily limits of walleye. Dang they tasted good! :smoke2:

To me the lake is really cool in the winter, too. Something about the power of the waves in bad winter storms - gives a real appreciation for the power of nature.

Cool pics, everybody!

It was built in 1821 and is the oldest continually-operating lighthouse on the Great Lakes. Love the picture you posted! :)

That’s awesome profdlp, Really appreciate old buildings, I went to Scotland a few months back for the first time and visited some castles from the 1500, there was 1 from the 1200's but it was more like a remnants of a rock. Really worth getting too one day if its your kind of thing.

If you are into roller coasters there is no place better. :favorites13:

One of my niece's visited me about eight years ago and I took her to the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame. I enjoyed the Hall, but I think the highlight of the day was looking out the window directly onto the lake as some pretty heavy winds pounded the shore. If it had been a little colder it might have looked similar to this:

Bradstreet's Landing, Rocky River, Ohio

(I did not take these and don't know when they were taken. This place is about five miles from my house.)

We've got plenty to share! :smoke2:

Some of the frozen moisture from the lake decided to find its way to the northern part of the state - 4 inches/10 centimeters of it fell on my area yesterday...and I don't even have the patio furniture in yet or the leaves raked out of the yard :icon_eek:

Now you don't have to rake the leaves.

We had snow on the bluffs Monday, just enough to make them whitish form a distance.
