Reprogramming keyless doors

HI,
ive been lurking for a while, but i need some help. my keyless doors stopped working last week and I just figured out how to replace the battery, and it was dead. but now the new battery isnt opening the doors either. i think i need to reprogram the whole thing but the manual doesnt say how.

I don't know if that is really the problem. Maybe the remote was dead to begin with, like worn out. How are you sure the battery was dead? Either way the reprogram instructions are around here somewhere, but I don't think that is the problem.
