Oil flow to valve adjusters.

I'm replacing an iffy valve adjuster. To check oil flow, I pulled all the adjusters and poured oil into their holes. The 6 intake side drained quickly. The 6 exhaust side didn't drain at all even after rotating the crank. Is this normal?

A set of 12 costs about $34 (in the U.S., anyway). Unless you're really strapped for cash, it'd be easier to just replace them all than to spend time trying to figure out which ones are bad.

What Ksat said. And soak the new ones in oil overnight before installing them. I'm totally guessing but I'd think your intake side valve adjusters are bad and the exhaust side are good. Still, they're cheap enough that while you're in there you should just replace them all.
