key Fob not locking and unlocking doors and beg dies not start

From South Africa. 2009 KK Cherokee/Liberty 2.8 CRD auto non start. Key switches on ignition but engine does not turn. All ignition lights come and all accessories operate. Key fob does not lock or unlock doors. Had Body Control Module refurbished. Now vehicle starts. Once switched off and wanting to start again, it does not start. Have to leave it for a while and then it will start again. Like some module overheats and once cooled down all is OK again. Please help with this concern. Thank you

Ignition actuator pin maybe? A common KJ problem. The little bit that actually turns the electrical switch.

Could it be the ignition switch too that the pin engages with? Having a similar issue on my 08
