I like it.... wonder how noisy that SkySlider top is when closed???

Also, where the heck is the spare tire hidden on this picture?? Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or is it missing?

Hehehe, it is there, but covered up by the hitch, and has a lot of touch up on the picture.. Look..

I didn't see that at all!
Hey yeah, that'd be cool if we could have like, on Official KK Thread, lol, and merge everything together!

Anybody else notice that the spare is a compact on the Sport model, fullsize spare is optional? On the Limited fullsize spare is standard. I got this info from AllPar spec sheet.

I still find it annoying that the spare is not on the back. And unfortunately because of the rear lift gate, I don't think it would even be possible to relocate the spare there. Maybe an aftermarket bumper with the tire carrier mounted to it that swings out before the lift gate opens up. Seems like too much of a hassle.

Everything else on it looks ok to me. There are a few little quirky things I don't like, but they wouldn't keep me from buying one I don't think. I'm not a fan of the canvas roof option. At least it's an option and not standard. Overall, looks like Jeep did quite well in building a mini-Commander.

For right now though, I think I'll keep my 06 KJ!

WOW im pleasently surprised!! I think it looks good. The boxy shape is appropriate, and doesnt look to strechted like it does on the commander. I'd drive it.

On a sidenote, i heard somewhere that most cars post 2008 were not going to be carrying a spare tire anymore...

OMG DO THE SEATS FOLD ALL THE WAY FLAT???

Not as horrible from the outside as i thought, but i still think the KJ is better. Looks like they've made some real effort to improve the interior. No 4.0L V6, no diesel, no 5 speed automatic transmission. Maybe in year 2, but until there are some upgraded powertrain options i wouldn't consider buying one.

Well, from looking from the picture and reading the description, am I to believe the command trac is just an electronic knob now instead of the good ol' shifter in the current liberties? If so, I am most definately keeping mine, as a thought was to trade in possibly. My wife has a nitro, and although I love the mygig system and it's a little bit roomier and has more cargo space, I really enjoy driving my liberty better.

That was gay. It only lasted like 10 minutes.

I watched it and it was only music.. I didnt see anything. :-s

It started about 5-8 minutes after scheduled time. There was some dude who looked like a tool holding an umbrella over the presenters head. Then they introduced the Liberty with the Sky Slider Rooftop and when they opened up the guy driving it opened an umbrella so it wouldn't rain on him. Another tool.

Sadly, it is now an electronic knob, although a really cool looking electronic knob!
