Is it possible to adjust clutch on manual trans?

I would really like to adjust the clutch on my 03 5 speed liberty. The engagement point is like literally a inch from pressing the peddle in and makes it difficult to achieve a smooth shift without having to keep your foot at an odd angle. I want to be able to have the engagement point about halfway down on pressing the peddle

No adjustments in the hydraulic clutch system.You have worn or leaking parts.

Mine felt like that, when i tore into it there was a lot of wear on the fingers of the pressure plate as well as a groove worn into the face of the throw out bearing that rides on the fingers. Clutch disc was fine but since i was in there, it as well as the pilot bearing got replaced, and for good measure so did the clutch master and slave cylinders.
