Picked up this 02 yesterday for my kids first car. Getting him started in the Jeep Family tradition. It's got a couple little issues but for the price I thought it wasn't to bad ($2,500).
Couple little issues - power mirrors don't work. Will be checking fuses.
Looks like the left front tire has wear only and only on the outside edge. So something is going on there.
Driver's seat can't recline as the bracket is broken. Seat is in good condition just need to replace the reclining bracket. Rest of the interior appears in excellent condition.
Tailgate clear coat is peeling.
Joined to see anything else about the 02 I should know.

The KJ appears to be in good condition overall, how many miles are on Jeep now?
Did you purchase it from a dealer or private sale?
Good choice for your son as they are a safe vehicle.
Check to see if there are any outstanding recalls for ball joints or hitch etc.
