My best friend has a 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited, V6, auto, which has developed a brake fluid leak on the drivers side. As I am unfamiliar with these vehicles, what I am trying to determine is what is this routed to? Does this vehicle have an auxiliary boost system? It looks like it is attached behind the power steering pump, and routed up to the left front fender. It does not look like it is attached to the caliper hose, or junction block.
I can pull the hose and take it to the Napa hose shop, but it would help if I knew a bit more about the braking system on this.
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated, as this will be her son's vehicle, and it has to be safe. I plan on working on this either tomorrow or Saturday.
Thank you,
