Just changed out both my rear wheel bearings hoping my griding noise would completely go away. It did get better, one was pretty bad, but it made this other noise much more obvious to hear. When in the rear diff, I did see some glitter in the fluid, but the gearset did not look worn.
The noise is stronger while accelerating. Off throttle it gets quieter, but is still present. I've dragged the brakes, checked the parking brake, neither are near the end of their lives. It doesn't change while turning. Anyone have ANY ideas or insights? Front pinion bearing(hopefully not)?
