Front shocks

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the factory front shocks on a Sport (@02 model) are stiffer or have greater damping than the same year in a Limited? I don't like the way the Ltd dives inot the corners and I have heard the Sports don't do it. Comments please!!

Don't know,lifted mine,much better than wore out stock.

Before the lift, our 2004 Sport had completely bagged out suspension.
The front shocks and coil springs were clapped out.
Just before the lift went in the coils were stacking when we drove over
a speed bump at 10-15 mph!
Rough gravel roads were just grim and sloppy.
How many miles on your 2002?
Sounds like your suspension has worn out.

I have a ltd and it doesn't dive into corners. Maybe your stuff is worn out???

I believe he means that the leading corner (suspension) dips down into the turn, there by pulling the vehicle towards the apex more so than normal ... not fun

then suspension is shot unless you have had it on jack stands with the load off of the suspension for the last 7 years and only have 15,000 miles on it
Time for new coils and shocks all the way around
