Hi! Thanks for adding me. :)

I just bought my KJ, completely stock. I'm seeking to learn from the collective experience of this group. I'm planning to get some muds. I have reviewed posts here about tire sizes, and haven't yet decided how big to go. I'll be having a 2-3" lift put on, and will probably remove the fenders.

What would you do to make your KJ Gambler 500 ready? What about HooptieX?

I would definitely recommend a lift, I personally wouldn't trust the CVs with anything bigger than 3". I have 32" tires and I was able to fit them with a 2.5" lift but it did require some bending and cutting in the front to get them to fit but jt wasn't too difficult. Depending on how comfortable you are with cutting into the body then you could go bigger but I don't have any personal experience with that. Good luck with your build and I'm definitely interested to see what the end result is!
