    how to prep/coat rock rails?

Just keep some onhand so you can touch up any spots where those sliders do their job. I used some POR15 and then their "HardNose" paint on a different part a while back and i was VERY impressed as to how well it holds up. Basiclly it DOES NOT CHIP. Now granted I did not deform the metal under it...

Plastic panel to hide some damage

First question is how much money do you have tied up in the KJ to begin with? None of my biz but I would think it would be nice to fix it right and then get some Skinks for the rig so old Ethan there doen't do it again..... JMHO

"Pass Airbag off" at the right front of my Liberty is always on

It says 60 some odd pounds in my owners mannual. My 80 pound lab will set the seat belt alarm off sometimes if he is sitting with his boney *** on the right spot of the seat, otherwise the light stays on and the little red guy on the dash stays off.

    Idle at 500 RPM?

As silly as it may seam... I would have your battery checked. IT MAY be going bad. The charging system in the KJ works differently. And when the battery is dying it can cause the PCM to do wierd things. Looks like in the icon you drive a 05 or 06 model. It should be still good, but it could...

    Quick Question. Don't Laugh

ms5490Rene, I did mine that way. I found it to be rather cost effective. A few more buck in shipping, but defered over timw and not a HUGE hit at once. If i understand you correctly, you want to maybe get the components say a pair at a time so you don't have as much out-of-pocket hit all at...

    Power steering pump

They may be replacing it but that is HIGHLY suspect to me. I would not trust them on future repairs that will be OUT of warantee. They sound like thy are getting you ready to take advantage of you in the future. That rear control arm just doen't go bad like that. Is it making any noises? How...

Tire Presure System.. NEED LOTS OF HELP!

Lets look at this whole thing again. You have sensors in the wheels from an 05. You KJ is an 03, and it wont work. Funny, you left out one very important piece of the puzzle. The TPM sensors in the wheel communicate with the EVIC system via the sensor recievers in the wheel wells. IF you...

LED Brake Lights for 2005 Liberty

I saw where you can wire a standard blub inside the roof panel or quarter panel to fool the flasher that there is a regular bulb there. The problem is that the LED's take far less power to operate than a regular bulb and thus causing the flasher malfunction. I saw where a guy put a bulb inside...

    Fast Blinker

Check the wiring harness leading to the turn signal/parking lamp. They share a ground wire. If that ground is off, broken or cut in any way then that will cause the flasher to run fast as you mentioned. It will also cause the parking lamp to blink in place of the turnsignal lamp. Sounds weird i...

    Daytime Running Lights?

DRL's are controlled by the relay as well as the fuse that powers the relay. WHY USE them if your state/country doesn't require them. I have read that GM's have the highest rate of Alternator failure attributed to DRL's.
