    Looking to overhaul my suspension

Haha, I've heard RRO has a bad rep on this board. It's a shame - they seem to be the only local Jeep-focused shop that doesn't roll their eyes at Libertys, but... They can't even be trusted if I source my own parts then? Ick

    Looking to overhaul my suspension

Multi-part question time! Well I've had my KJ for a year now - time to redo the saggy stock suspension. I want to replace springs with OME's and shocks/struts with... something. I guess people like Bilstein shocks to go with OME springs? Any other suggestions? I think I'll go with medium duty...

    Skids from Renegade?

^^ I can attest to this - in my search for a Libby I was initially looking for a Renegade, but they were really hard to find in this area. Finally found one, ran to the dealer and took a look under - no skids, no towing, just silly looking fake rivets in the fender flares. Finally found a much...

    coolant types

I've seen HOAT in a few different colors - the MOPAR stuff you got is definitely right though.

    Replacing oil filter '04 3.7 V6

I replaced the oil filter from the underside - had to go get a filter wrench to pull it out because it was in there really tight but other than that it really was pretty easy to get to. From the top I really couldn't reach it, but it could be just because mine has the larger HD shroud.

    August JPOTM: Dirtiest KJ

Ah, it's been so stinking dry here since I got the KJ I don't have any good 'dirty' pics. I've got some good ones of my XJ but I expect those don't qualify :)

2004 Export Liberty (Cherokee) - EVIC overhead Console help

Do you perhaps have the OTIS instead of the EVIC? OTIS has a segmented display instead of a pixellated one and doesn't have the extra options. The good news is there is generally an alternate way to set those options - I'm not sure on the specifics there though.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Took it up into the mountains. Good times. I think I've figured out how to drive the 42RLE without getting any idiot lights - none came up today despite some steep(ish) slippery driving! Just made sure to always lock out any silly gearshifting - usually sticking with "2" going up and "1"...

FS: Various Leftover Jeep Parts (OEM Rails, Westin Bull Bar, Tow Hooks, Mats)

... Guessing shipping the rails to 84606 is going to be pretty ugly?

    How many Din

KJ is 1.5 DIN I believe. The size it's really hard to find anything in :) KK is 2 DIN.

    Installing trans cooler

Well, that seems to be two votes of confidence for the Spectra - sounds like I'll probably be going that route when I have a bit more money (but keep the OEM around just in case it needs to go back in!) How much work goes in to replacing the radiator on a KJ with the HD shroud? Might need...

Need help with a part #

Can't buy it individually, and it would just break again - on the other hand, you can replace it with these so it won't break again: LINK

    Installing trans cooler

So far I've found a lot of "OE Style replacements" and what appears to be an 06 OEM that does not include the cooler. Do you have a part number for the 02-07 you ordered, by any chance? EDIT: OK, found the part on moparonlineparts - of course they won't give me the part# from the...

    Installing trans cooler

So the '02 OEM with the in-rad cooler installs in the 05 without any trouble?

    Installing trans cooler

Fine, fine, I give up... I'll look into getting a radiator with in-rad trans cooling. Anyone have a good one, aftermarket or OEM, that you recommend I look into? One you have personal experience with would be great. Thanks...

    overheating

Yes, that appears to be quite low - see the cold fill arrow. I don't have personal experience with how low it can get before you start having overheat issues, but I think I would start with the low coolant here.

OEM Head Unit mp3 cd compatability

Mine doesn't, but I know it is a factory option - if you have a VIN I guess you could potentially get a build sheet and find out from here: http://www.compnine.com/vid.php

OEM Head Unit mp3 cd compatability

If it has the text "MP3" to the left of the CD slot like the one pictured does, it supports mp3 cds. If no MP3 text, probably not.

    Installing trans cooler

OK, so the opinion here is that even with increased airflow to the existing cooler the transmission will still overheat? It certainly does bug me how 'high' 1st gear is on the 42RLE. Barely keeps me at 30mph down steep pavement. Oh well...

    Installing trans cooler

So, looking into things more... I think surface area shouldn't be an issue - the factory transmission cooler is the long thing on the front and bottom of the radiator, right? (The PS cooler is the smaller standalone cooler off to the right, then.) That thing already takes up a good bit of...
