    $35 to repair a tire

Do like I do and spend $30 at area tire center (they have stores in all the major town & cities within 100 miles or so) and buy the road hazard and then you have the free rotation, balancing, repairs, etc.

A few questions for you guys, can somone help me out a littl

The hitch is most likely at least a 5,000 lb rated hitch if it has a two in reciever. The OEM is a 2" reciever and rated 5,000lbs in US for 3.7L V6 & 2.8L CRD. As far as the use of a small light weight trailer and carrying no more then you will be carrying, if your Jeep is a V6 or CRD it will...

    oil filter on 05 CRD

It's $40 in the US and is different then the skid for a gasser. That ****** skid will make a mess though when it comes oil change time, you may want to drop it (very easy one man job) before you do oil & filter change in the future.

The 4.7 torque peak would most likely nearer the red line, probably above 4500 rpm.

I run 38 psi in the tires and have had no problems with traction or wear on the Wrangler ST's after 4000 miles.

Peak power is from 1800 rpm to about 4200 rpm. It produces more torque at idle then the 4.7 does at half throttle.

    KJ Gazoil Consumption

About 1/4" (6 to 8 MM) inch down on the dipstick in 4000 miles. I expect it todrop to nil when I change it over to Mobil's Delvac 1/Truck & SUV synthetic oil. 21 city & 31 highway.

    Question for CRD Owners

Put a Flowmaster 40 on the CRD and let the MPG's go up and the EGT's go down, with little change in exhaust sound. :-$ Or you can straight pipe the CRD and enjoy the true sound of a diesel. \:D/

    Question for CRD Owners

Quite and smooth running on B10 50 cetane fuel. Solid as a rock at 110 mph, and will leave 90% of the gassers at the light when it changes. Wife is averaging 20 to 22 mpg in town. We have had two road trips, one at 400 mile point and averaged 28 mph at 73 on the interstate. Second road trip...

    CRD Engine Heater Observations

My door sticker says minum recommended tire pressure is 32 psi, I run 38 psi and it is doing excellent in both wet & snow on the cheap Goodyear ST's which are rated for 44 psi cold at max loaded vehicle. Kind of like in the old days a tire rated for 35 or 36 max PSI would normally be run at 30...
