It's $40 in the US and is different then the skid for a gasser. That tranny skid will make a mess though when it comes oil change time, you may want to drop it (very easy one man job) before you do oil & filter change in the future.

The 4.7 torque peak would most likely nearer the red line, probably above 4500 rpm.

I run 38 psi in the tires and have had no problems with traction or wear on the Wrangler ST's after 4000 miles.

Peak power is from 1800 rpm to about 4200 rpm. It produces more torque at idle then the 4.7 does at half throttle.

About 1/4" (6 to 8 MM) inch down on the dipstick in 4000 miles. I expect it todrop to nil when I change it over to Mobil's Delvac 1/Truck & SUV synthetic oil. 21 city & 31 highway.

Put a Flowmaster 40 on the CRD and let the MPG's go up and the EGT's go down, with little change in exhaust sound. :-$ Or you can straight pipe the CRD and enjoy the true sound of a diesel. \:D/
