I have been doing some digging as one does when they are considering lifting their Jeep. I do not want to go the cheap spacer route as I understand the damage it does to the related components, and I am also not wanting to break the bank on OME and Bilstein equipment as I couldn't justify the expense for how little use it may get. I think I have come up with somewhat of a middle ground and I thought I would share my plan to get some feedback. I will attach pictures of the parts I am planning on using as it is a bit of a conglomeration. For the front I plan to use the loaded Rough Country struts for a 2.5" lift. I saw that they list these parts as only for KK's but KK and KJ front struts are identical so it should be fine. I will be pairing these with the RRO front upper control arms designed for lifts. For the rear I am keeping it simple with 1.5" spacers to hopefully keep the front rake away but still get some lift in the rear. I will also be using the Rough country extended struts for the rear.
My main question is if anyone has used these Rough Country KK struts on a KJ. I am not sure why they list them as KK only since the parts are identical so if anyone knows of any issues there please let me know!
