Hey guys I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty 3.7 four-wheel drive and I was pulling into the driveway and it slammed and barely take off I pulled the dipstick for the transmission out smelled it it was burnt and I have no reverse I put it in reverse and all it does is whine and hum so I was looking around junk yards I found one guy that has a 2004 Jeep Liberty 4 wheel drive 3.7 could I use that transmission in my 2006

Did you try to just drop the pan and replace as much fluid as possible? Might be worth a shot. As for the 04 ****** in the 06, I'm pretty sure it will work.
