Hey there, I was doing an oil and filter change on my 2005 Jeep Liberty (KJ) 2.8L Turbo Diesel and I noticed his hose hanging from a bit of my bash plate, I have absolutely no idea where it came from. Any ideas?

Thanks :)

That looks like part of the injector fuel return line. Probably an old piece that dropped down into the abyss.

If you look at your #1 injector you'll see a 90° elbow sticking out of the top attached to hose running to T-fittings on injectors #2-4 and then to a plastic fuel junction block at the rear of the head on the driver's side.

Save it. The plastic elbow and T-fittings like to break when removed from the injectors. Comes as a spendy assembly. If your CRD is running then it's been replaced.
