zerk question

I just installed Jeepinbyal UCAs with serviceable ball joints. I can't for the life of me get the coupler on my grease gun to latch onto the zerks (either side and I've tried 2 couplers). I haven't had much experience with greasing through zerks but I thought that the coupler should just lock on with a good push. It won't stay on so I keep greasing the outside of the zerk :shrug:

any pointers???

Hold pressure on it with 1 hand.

tried that thanks. held it on as hard as i could. grease just comes out where they mate.

Un screw the zerk,see if it works,if so try jacking Jeep up some to relieve pressure in joint. Gun fitting and zerk need to be aligned also.

Went and got ANOTHER coupler from pepboys. Guess third time is the charm. It locked right on. Thanks!
