in around a year the paint under it wont exist.

actually if taken care of right I have had Bras on cars for years with no ill effects. The first thing is to keep it taught so it doesnt flap in the wind (this one doesn't move.) I also take it off once a week to wash the truck and once a month to wax it. The good thing about buying an OEM bra is the felt backing that the aftermarket ones don't have.

I have no worries about the paint at all!

I was just breaking balls. No disrespect, it was just the first thing that came to mind. I have had good luck with bras in the past too, but I got tired of maintaining the fit.

I had a "bra" on an old Pontiac Grand Am I had and it really screwed up the paint underneath. It got all dry and cracked looking. I think maybe if you remember to wax under it, it should be ok....
