Wrangler take offs

Hello everyone! I'm in need of some help. I bought some 2013 wrangler rims and tires today thinking they would fit on my 04 liberty. First thing I noticed was the lug patern was different and I'd need adapters. My question is about the tire size. The tires on the rims are 255 75 r17. Even if I did buy the adapters, will these fit without rubbing? Thanks in advance for any response!

If i do get the adapters it would put the wheels 1 3/4in out from stock if that helps.

Been done before....adaptors work, just keep the maintenance on them up. Those tires will fit with a lift

So those tires won't work without a lift?

255/75r17 are 32 inch tires....stock height I bet even 245/70r16 (29.5 inch) will rub on your 04. Whats the mesurement from the center of your hub to the bottom of the fender flare.....stock height is right at 19 inches.

Tommudd runs 32" tall tires on his KJ and he has a 4 inch lift.

Just measured. 19 inches from center. Anyone in Louisiana with a lift want some wrangler rims and tires?

Here in houston JK rims (the moab style) go for 100-150 a set. Might try your local jeep club. Some guys like stockers for highway use.
