Will 245/70R17 fit stock Liberty KK?

Hi everyone!

I just bought a 2010 Liberty KK limited and wanted to fit 245/70R17 BF Goodrich, without lifting or spacers (just for now)

Will this be OK? Does it fit correctly and not rub or disturb in any way?

That is a 30.5 inch tall tire
Need a 2.5 inch lift at least to clear everything
We have a KK section and also a Tire and Wheel section there

With lift and without spacers you think it would work?

With a full spring lift yes

My guess is that they'd fit. My 2011 has 245/70/16's with no lift, so other than our rim diameter it should be the same geometry.

NO NO they will not , lots of difference between 16s and 17s
over an inch taller ( the 245-70-17 over the 245-70-16s )

I appreciate your correction! I clearly know little about tire sizing...
When I was shopping for mine, I called BF Goodrich directly and asked if these would fit for my Jeep. The guy I spoke to was certain they would, and suggested I had room to go bigger. Maybe you could get the same clarity from them.

First thing I always ask is for the person to measure to see how much sag they have in the front suspension.
The Libertys are prone to sag up to 3/4 to an inch by 70,-75,000 miles
I have had them come into my shop where a stock worn out 235-70-16 was rubbing due to that much sag
So no one on the phone can tell you absolute for certain what size will fit
( I was manager of various tire stores selling Goodyear, BFG etc for over 12 years )
